 Manifestation is the spiritual sense of something made real. When you manifest something, you make it clear and evident. People who manifest things and speak things before their existence are known as prophets and so this was open to a chosen set of people as not everyone could manifest because of their mind frame and their level of belief. People who manifest must also be able to discern as they work hand in hand. Discernment means to separate, recognise and determine.
